DESCRIPTION
Der Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Jahre Single Malt Whisky wurde 14 Jahre lang in traditionellen Whiskyfässern aus Eiche gereift und anschließend in Fässern "gefinished", in denen zuvor karibischer Rum gelagert wurde.

Um das ideale Finish zu erreichen, füllte Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE amerikanische Eichenfässer mit seiner eigenen Mischung aus ausgewählten westindischen Rumsorten.

Als die Fässer fertig waren, wurde der Rum durch die 14 Jahre alte Spirituose ersetzt und das Holz erhielt den letzten Schliff.

Das Ergebnis ist ein außergewöhnlicher Single Malt Whisky mit dem traditionellen weichen, honigartigen Charakter von The Balvenie, gepaart mit Noten von Toffee und einem Hauch von Früchten, mit einem warmen, lang anhaltenden Abgang.
