The Macduff 100 Proof Edition #3, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2024 by Signatory Vintage, is a 16-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Highlands. Part of the exclusive 100 Proof series, this exceptional cask edition was fully matured in First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts and is bottled at a strength of 57.1% ABV (100 Proof).

The flavor profile is distinguished by notes of malt, chocolate cake, berries, and orange zest, shaped by 16 years of maturation in Andalusian oak casks.     Die Macduff Distillery Company wurde im Jahr 1960 gegründet. Im Laufe ihrer Geschichte schwankte der offizielle Name der Brennerei zwischen Glen Deveron und MacDuff, wobei die offiziellen Abfüllungen meist unter dem ersteren Namen veröffentlicht wurden.

    Im Jahr 1972 wurde Glen Deveron/Macduff von William Lawson Distillers Ltd. erworben. (bekannt für den gleichnamigen Blend) übernommen, die 1980 Teil des Unternehmens Martini & Rossi wurde. Im Jahr 1992 wurden die Eigentümer von Martini & Rossi von der Bacardi Corporation übernommen.

    Die Macduff-Brennerei bezieht ihr Malz aus einer industriellen Quelle in der Speyside. Die Brennerei verwendet eine Kombination aus getorftem und ungetorftem Malz, je nach dem Zweck der Spirituose, die der Standort destilliert.
